This FHWA project involved paving, pavement milling, storm sewer installation and rehab, sidewalks, handicap ramps and handrails, curbs, guardrails, masonry, pavement marking, grading, rock excavation, aggregate base, erosion control, establishment of turf, and surveying and staking. The project had 2 different job sites 130 miles apart to be worked simultaneously. Both project sites were located inside national parks during peak visitor season. Unique features of work included the preservation of items deemed historic to the park such as rock paved culvert ends, sidewalks, curbs and retaining walls. Randy Kinder Excavating fully or partially demolished these items and then reconstructed them in a way look aged and original.
