About the Project

This FHWA project involves stabilization of a river bank on the Hatchie River with a Cellular Confinement System and Geogrid. The major aspects of the work include excavation, placement and compaction of 4,813 tons of 57 stone, construction and maintenance of a cofferdam, unwatering, installation of a cellular confinement system, installation of geogrid, concrete, rock backfill, compacted embankment, erosion and sediment control, and establishment of turf.
