Ditch 251 Channel Cleanout

The project involved channel excavation (cleanout) along Ditch 251 within the Little River Floodway, over a continuous stretch of 30 miles. RKE served as the prime contractor, undertaking all general construction administration requirements including project management, site supervision, safety, and quality control.

The project included clearing and grubbing, top bank shaping, channel excavation (approximately 1.1 million cubic yards), disposal of excavated materials, demolition (train bridge trestle demolition and removal), SWPPP, environmental protection, erosion control berms, and seeding and mulching. Customer satisfaction: Satisfactory rating.
